Aquatic exercise in our therapy pool offers a friendly, kid-free atmosphere. Whether you are taking a class led by one of our trainers or enjoying the warm pool on your own, we're sure you will benefit significantly from the time you spend here.

Our 34 by 20-foot pool is heated to 86 degrees, so you can get your aquatic cardio therapy exercises done without overheating, but not be cold either. 
For your non-cardio therapy aquatic exercises, we offer a 7 by 10 hot-soak therapy pool heated to a comfortable 98 degrees, ensuring you feel great during your session.

We have created *NEW PROTOCOLS* to manage the restrictions put upon us by this pandemic. Please review them and follow them during your visits with us. 

AQUA CARDIO CLASS

This water aerobics class is a full body strength building water workout for all ages that pumps up your heart rate.  Water exercise equipment is used to increase resistance for greater cardio conditioning.  The low impact nature of the class reduces stress on joints and allows you complete control of intensity.  This class is 55 minutes.

AQUA CARDIO EXPRESS: 

30 minutes of AQUA CARDIO (Express classes are good for people who are time constrained or significantly out of shape.)

KNEE-HAB EXPRESS

This water exercises will strengthen & lengthen your low back, hips, glutes, IT band, calves, ankles, and foot muscles to keep your knees stable.  The same training protocols apply whether you're healing from a knee injury or trying to prevent knee injuries.  This class is 30 minutes.

B.A.D. Core Class

(B.A.D. = Back ~ Abs ~ Derrière) Yes, it is PILATES in the water.   Great for your back, belly, butt, knees, hips, improves your balance, etc.  Builds core / powerhouse strength & improves range of motion, maximizes flexibility, at a moderate pace.  Attention to control, breathing, flowing motion, concentration, centering, precision, routine, and isolation are key principles.  This class is in WARM (92 f) water.   This class is 55 minutes..

AQUA ZUMBA with Rick Jordan

Join Rick for an invigorating aquatic exercise party/class integrating the Zumba philosophy with the resistance of water.  This format blends it all together into a workout that's cardio, strengthening, toning, and most of all exhilarating beyond belief. BAD RAGAZ METHOD

The Bad Ragaz Method an active one-on-one aquatic physical therapy concept that adapted for personal training. Since 1240 this aquatic practice has been performed in a small town of Switzerland called Bad Ragaz. The techniques developed there have been honed over time and are being brought to you here at PARADISE!

Aqua Gym Circuit

Our Aqua Gym Circuit is an exciting High-Intensity-Interval-Training (HIIT) style program. You can choose from a 1-hour class or our 30-minute Express workout, and you will get to cycle through our state-of-the-art aquatic equipment. Our Aquatic Circuit workouts are designed to accommodate a variety of ability levels. Whether you are just starting, or are an athlete, our Aqua Gym Circuit has something for you!

It's like an entire fitness gym in the water! When you work out in the water, every muscle is surrounded by 360• resistance, which exercises important stabilizer and intrinsic muscles; something that's very difficult to achieve at a regular gym. Our class will target all major muscle groups, and the interval-training style will get your heart-rate up, making it the ultimate cardio - full-body workout!

Aqua Bike

Aqua Treadmill

With an Aqua Treadmill, you can walk, run or jog as fast as you'd like and receive the same full-body benefits of running without the high-impact. The Aqua Treadmill will help you get your heart rate up, burn calories, improve balance, and so much more.  

 

Aqua Jumper

There are all sorts of different exercises you can do on the Aqua Jumper! Jumping will tone and strengthen your glutes, legs, and core. Rebounding is also known to increase endorphin release, which combats pain and will also improve your mood!

This Aqua Shoulder Machine is a specific apparatus for strength training, rehabilitation, and functional recovery of the upper limbs and shoulder. You can perform a cycling motion with your arms in either direction, and it's a great way to strengthen your upper body and alleviate sore elbows, shoulders, and more.

This Aqua Shoulder Machine is designed to work your upper body, back, and shoulders with various pulling motions. Using this machine is similar to lifting cable weights, or TRX suspension training without the high-impact.

 

Ai Chi Pain Relief

Ai Chi is a water exercise and relaxation practice that is composed of deep breathing and slow, continuous movements. Originally based on Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Ai Chi has been clinically proven to aid in fatigue, balance, strength, stiffness, and pain. 

Benefits of Ai Chi

The benefit that our clients love the most is the physical and mindful pain relief that Ai Chi provides. The combination of flowing movements, mindful concentration along with the pain-relieving properties of water will all work together to offer you noticeable, immediate results. Other benefits include improved mobility, balance, and flexibility.  Our Ai Chi Classes are conducted in warm water which increases blood flow, warms-up stiff and hurting joints and muscles.  It feels amazing.
